This is my annual birthday gig with a big twist! I'm splitting the bill with... drum roll please... THE PINERS! Do you remember the Piners? They began turning a lot of heads with their infectious Country/Americana sound in the mid 90's & had a great run of shows for a decade or more. They've been on a long hiatus, but on their 30th Anniversary the trio decided to get back together to play some tunes. It'll be so much fun to hear Pip Walter, Boo Cowie & Haakon Kaalweit doin' their thing again! Rumor has it that I'll join them on stage for a couple tunes as well. And not only that, this July 10th gig is 2 days after my birthday & 3 days after Pip's birthday! We'll have a lot to celebrate... if the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll play inside, but we are all hoping for an outside sound fest & a big celebration!
