1. TARGET GIGS (Full Details)

THURSDAY / NOVEMBER 13th / LENNY'S / WESTBROOK ME / 6:30 to 9PM / 207-591-0177... We always have a blast here... The food is awesome & affordable, the staff is wicked fun & really good at what they do... & the list of artists performing here is topnotch. I am honored to be on that list, playing every other month. I hope you'll join us for the fun, the food, the music & the camaraderie! And THANKS for remembering the suggested donation for music is $10 pp in "Phil" the tip basket ("Phil" is short for "fill it up please!") Future date @ Lenny's:  Thurs, Dec 4th.

2. CURRENT CEREBRAL WANDERINGS

October is always one of my fave months. The foliage was not as vibrant as usual here in New England due to lack of rain this year, but I enjoyed a stellar month anyway. I was fortunate enough to spend 5 nights & 4 full days in the White Mountains of NH at the start of the month. I did a lot of hiking & writing, I watched amazing sunsets over the mountain ridges from the deck of the condo I rented, I hooked up with an old pal of mine for dinner & a visit to "Hoot Night" in Jackson (a long running open mic at The Wildcat Tavern, now hosted by my friend & fellow musician Jonathan Sarty... & yes, I performed several songs that night!)... I met some cool people while hiking... AND I got to bask in the light of the full super moon from that same amazing sunset deck while I was there. I am still smiling from the time I spent there. Here are only a few of many photos I shot while there:

What a fabulous getaway that was... I'm a true Maine gal, but ya gotta hand it to the White Mountains of NH...they are pretty damn special, especially in the fall. I hope to return to that condo some day... SOON!

After my NH trip, the next 2 weeks were filled with daytime performances at Senior Living Facilities & culminated with a soulful concert evening at Cadenza in Freeport. Thanks to all who were there for that show... it warmed my heart to feel your presence there in such an extraordinary way. I debuted a new tune that night... one that was less than a month old from the time I began to write it. It is a sequel to one of my fans' favorite tunes "The River in Your Heart" (& mine as well) which was written almost 25 years ago. The new tune is called "River Bend" & you can still check it out if you wish via this link to the show. (The new tune is somewhere near the 2/3 mark, after I have played "The River in Your Heart".) This link will expire in abut 160 days, so download it or watch it soon! Mark your calendars for my next Cadenza concert: Saturday, February 7th, 2026! One of the best venues evah!

It is now the end of October & it's time to set back the clocks.... my oh my... that always floors me. How quick those warm months pass right? And soon, my friends, the holidays will be upon us! I've got gigs in Westbrook at Lenny's on November 13th & December 4th... so take a break from your holiday running around & come find me hummin' & strummin' in another fave family friendly venue!

Wherever you are this November, I hope you remember that music & the outdoors are good medicine! I hope to see many of you... at a show, on a trail through the woods, on top of a mountain, on the beach, out dancin' to good tunes or maybe at the grocery store. Thanks for tuning in to my ramblings... your support means more to me than you can know.

Peace,

Steven L'Heureux
